Through Family Connects NJ adoptive and resource parents can request a free nurse visit at home within two weeks after your baby’s birth. Our nurses are specially trained to evaluate the health of the child, answer questions about adjusting to life with a newborn, and address any unexpected challenges that parents are experiencing after bringing their newborn home.
