Family Connects NJ is ready to serve all parents experiencing the tragedy of a stillbirth, or loss of their newborn, including those who may not have carried the baby.

There is no right or wrong way to grieve, but the first weeks after the birthing event can be the most overwhelming as you address your family’s unique needs.

Family Connects NJ offers a free and voluntary nurse visit in the comfort of your own home to assist you with:

  • Screening for postpartum health issues that could be otherwise overlooked
  • Linking you and your family to ongoing grief counseling and behavioral health resources
  • Connecting you to community resources available for you


Supporting the well-being of every family – at no cost – with a visit at home.
